Expanding Our Reach: Impactt Kids Workshops at Escalon Library
Impactt Kids is proud to announce our new workshops at the Escalon Library. Even though the library is farther from our main locations, our team has worked hard to bring learning opportunities to more students. These workshops are part of our goal to make computer science and public speaking accessible, engaging, and fun for everyone.
Our work at Escalon Library focuses on helping students build confidence and explore new skills.
Here is what we have been doing:
Coding Lessons: Students learn the basics of computer science through interactive and hands-on activities. We teach them how to think logically, solve problems, and be creative with technology.
Public Speaking Practice: Students take part in simple speaking exercises that improve confidence, expression, and teamwork.
Supportive Learning: Every session encourages curiosity and participation. Students can ask questions, share ideas, and learn at their own pace.
Dedicated Volunteers: Our instructors volunteer their time each week to plan lessons, guide students, and help them stay engaged.
Weekly Online Classes: Because of the distance, we now host online sessions every week for our Escalon students. These classes have allowed learning to continue consistently and have even helped new students join from other places.
Ongoing Growth: We have seen strong participation and enthusiasm from students and parents. The online classes also allow us to stay connected with everyone between in-person visits.
We are proud of the progress we have made at Escalon Library. The workshops have shown how committed our team is to bringing education to all communities, even when travel is challenging. We are grateful to the Escalon Library for its support and partnership.
Impactt Kids will continue to grow, expand, and find new ways to inspire students. We believe that distance should never stop learning, and we are excited to keep building programs that connect and empower young people everywhere.
